I have a Front Loading Washing Machine in my Kitchen, in a House that was built in 1900. I originally used the Vibration Pads made by Derens/GE, which was offered when I bought my GE Washer. These are made of what appears to be Hard Rubber, with a light tread on the bottom for grip. These Vibration Pads worked somewhat, but not that great, and my Washer would move (Rotate) on the floor during the spin cycle. The vibration would also cause the Dryer to move as well! The fact that I have Vinyl Floors in my Kitchen didn’t help. I read a lot of good stuff about the Anti-Walk Silent Feet, and how they were suppose to prevent Washer movement, and reduce vibration and structural damage. Since using them, I have seen much improvement, my Washer and Dryer don’t move, and the vibration has been reduced. My kitchen still shakes, and my faucet on sink still bobs up and down, but it is better than before. The material that is used really holds on to the Vinyl Floor, you would have to grab it and pull it up off the floor. The material in the cup itself feels like gritty stone, and that prevents the Washer feet from sliding in the cup. Something to consider if you decide to purchase this, is that unless you can get around all sides of your Washing machine, you may have a tough using these because you won’t be able to slide your machine out and back after you put them on.
